A Basket Strainer is a filtration device widely used in industrial pipeline systems. Its defining feature is a cylindrical straining basket ( screen) vertically housed within a chamber, which gives it its name due to its resemblance to a basket. It is primarily designed to remove solid impurities (such as rust, particles, sediment, other contaminants) fluids (liquids, gases, steam), thereby protecting downstream critical equipment like pumps, valves, instruments, heat exchangers, ensuring the stability safety of the production process.
